  4. Click "New" to create a new signature
  5. Name your signature (e.g., "Off-Road Place Signature")
  6. Right-click in the signature editor and select "Paste Special" → "HTML" (or use Ctrl+Shift+V)
  7. Set as default for new messages and replies
  8. Click "OK" to save

Outlook Web (Office 365)

  1. Go to outlook.office365.com/mail/
  2. Click the Settings gear icon
  3. Go to "View all Outlook settings"
  4. Navigate to Mail → Compose and reply
  5. Under "Email signature", click "New signature"
  6. Right-click in the signature editor and select "Paste Special" → "HTML" (or use Ctrl+Shift+V)
  7. Set as default and save

⚠️ Troubleshooting: Signature shows as HTML code

If your signature appears as HTML code instead of formatted text:

  • Make sure you're using "Paste Special" → "HTML" (not regular paste)
  • Try using Ctrl+Shift+V instead of Ctrl+V
  • In Outlook Web, make sure you're in the HTML editor mode
  • If still not working, try copying from a web browser where the signature is displayed

🚫 Icons Not Showing?

If the icons (social media, contact icons) are not displaying:

  • Outlook Issue: Outlook has limited support for SVG icons in signatures
  • Solution 1: Try using Outlook Web (outlook.office365.com) instead of desktop Outlook
  • Solution 2: The signature will still work - recipients will see the text and links without icons
  • Alternative: Consider using hosted PNG images instead of embedded SVGs for better compatibility

Note: This is a known limitation with Outlook and embedded SVG icons. The signature will still function properly for recipients.

💡 Better Solution: Use PNG Icons

For maximum compatibility, consider using hosted PNG images instead of embedded SVGs:

  • Create 20x20px PNG versions of all icons
  • Host them on your web server
  • Replace SVG data URIs with hosted PNG URLs
  • This ensures icons display in all email clients including Outlook

Example: https://yourdomain.com/icons/mobile-red.png

Step-by-step instructions for Gmail:

  1. Click the "Copy Signature" button above
  2. Go to Gmail Settings
  3. Scroll down to the "Signature" section
  4. Click "Create new" or edit an existing signature
  5. Important: Use Ctrl+Shift+V (or Cmd+Shift+V on Mac) to paste as HTML, or use regular paste (Ctrl+V)
  6. Set it as your default signature for new emails and replies
  7. Click "Save Changes" at the bottom

💡 Pro Tip: If the signature appears as HTML code, try using Ctrl+Shift+V instead of regular paste. This tells Gmail to interpret the content as HTML.
